"On December 13th, I and Simone will have the honor of welcoming a work by Belgian artist Walter Swennen in our apartment, as part of the “MUSEE COMME CHEZ SOI” project. This project was created by the Musée d´Ixelles and Patrimoine à roulettes, with the support of the Brussels-Capital Region and the Municipality of Ixelles as part of the Athénée Sustainable Neighborhood Contract. A project that was recognized with the 2019 aKCess Prize from Prométhéa as well as the prize for innovative cultural practice in Belgium, awarded in 2018 by the League of Cultural Users (L.U.C.). For this project, the Museum of Ixelles closed for renovations, offered its neighbors to host an artwork for a weekend: their home becomes a museum."
